I was looking for an electrician on line and Georgetown Electric came up. The reviews were very good so I called. John answered and we set up an appointment. When he arrived I jokingly asked if his family wrote the reviews since everyone was very impressed with his service. Well I’m not a relative but I must say I was very impressed with John and the work that he did. Too bad more companies don’t have a professional like John representing them. Thanks for the great work.

Bundle & Save

One visit. One permit process.Real savings.

An EV charger, a panel change, and a service upgrade are three parts of the same question: how much power can your home handle. Combine two or all three into one project and the shared setup, utility coordination, and ESA permitting cost less. We pass that on.

The work truck has changed. The Top-Notch Service has not.

That van belonged to Highland Electric, the shop John Murray's father started in Georgetown in 1973. John apprenticed under him, worked alongside him until his retirement, and took over in 2013. The name on the door became Georgetown Electric in 1992, and the work never left town.

Fifty years of local wiring adds up to something you can't shortcut: we have been inside the panels of half the neighbourhoods here, from the century homes near Main Street that need careful heritage retrofits to the new builds getting their first EV charger. Prompt, professional, and polite is not a slogan. It is the reason the phone number has survived three area codes.
